Just got one of these bad boys on monday. Loving every minute of it, plugged it in and straight away wireless net, awesome graphics, light controller ....

and then i found motorstorm, with its motion sensor steering... omg....

i currently have resistance: fall of man, motorstorm and def jam icon, anyone else who has one suggest some must have games, mods etc ?

God Of War & Shadow of the Colossus

Oh & Street Fighter Alpha Anthology if you like street fighters (wish they'd bring it to Xbox live / 360 dammit)

I dont have a PS2 simply because I'd know I'd waste my life away on those, enjoy your PS2 journey :)

MGS4 makes me want one so bad but I said I would never buy a console again. Maybe early next year if the price drops + gta4.

O rly? I was under the impression there was no date yet for Assassin's Creed? If its november that means my november is gonna be busy with that and Mass Effect :O

Not as good as Gears of War.

There's a rubber duck game available in the PS3 store. I played it when I was around at a friends house and that was pretty addictive, uses nothing but the tilt function on the controller. Think along the lines of monkey ball. Well worth the $8 or whatever it is they charge for it.

360 has an orgy of great games coming out within the next 2 or so months. bioshock, blue dragon, eternal sonata (brilliant) and halo 3 (what can i say, i liked halo 2)

ps3 will pick up id expect in about a year. or whenever a game comes out that is so incredible it grabs you by the balls and forces you to get a console to play it

well thats what the ps3 mag is saying. they are usually right until the game gets pushed back like gta4.

isnt coop the whole point of the game?

i think the key word there is ONLINE.

I'd assume it does, it'd be crazy for them not to have online co-op. I'm pretty sure I've seen videos of it being played co-op and the screen isn't split, but I guess that could have been over a system link.

normaly i would agree that bioshock belongs on the pc, but i have given up trying to keep my pc up-to-date and being able to play games smoothly. really, its just to damn hard now days. no matter what system i get, it seems my stuff always runs like s*** so unless something comes to change my mind my pc is turning into a media box. however thats all way offtopic.

back on track though, id be willing to put money on the fact that when ff13 is released, you will see the ps3 go through the roof everywhere

FF crystal chronicles or what ever required you to do it that way, and many others too. It's not uncommon way to "add feature" to your features list.

Yeah, but the gamecube didn't have online play, so Crystal Chronicles hardly had a choice. And since the game is being built around the concept of multiplayer co-op from the ground up, online multiplayer seems like a given. Doesn't mean someone didn't make a stupid decision and leave it out though.

A handful of online games and a network adapter that was not widely available, does not an online console make. They were already taking a risky chance and potentially limiting sales of crystal chronicles by requiring everyone to have a gameboy, it would have been absolute suicide for them to then rely on people having a network adapter, they would have sold like 5 copies of the game. World wide.

A device with a network interface connected in some shape or form to the internet with usable software is "online", as far as I'm concerned. I'm not debating your point, just the way you expressed it.

FYI, I have a copy of crystal chronicles and a pair of GBAs with link cables in a bag in my cupboard. Fun game, but the end boss was really annoying so I stopped playing it after getting to that point.

FF:CC lacked the depth that I was looking for...like, your characters really didn't seem to improve much over the course of the game...what kinda whacked out game is that!!

To be fair, Crystal Chronicles didn't -require- you to own a GBA, only if you wanted to play multiplayer. I do admit though, that the game was much better as a multiplayer title than as a single player one.

Hey there was nothing wrong with revenge (excluding the fact that it got a lil repetitive towards the end).

They made it too easy to gain boost, making it insignificant. Play Burnout Revenge and then play Burnout 2 and you'll see what I mean.
