A few years ago I worked for a large firm in the UK. Our sysadmin was a guy in his 40's, married, 2 kids and looked like weird al in the 'white and nerdy' song.

He came to work one day dressed as a chick and announced that he now wished to be referred to as Susan. He was just starting his journey towards a full-blown sex change.
