sound works fine in everything cept suddenly not when i'm running firefox watching youtube or imbedded movies.
anyone got an idea what would cause/how to fix this?

Have you tried IE?

Also alot of youtube vids are really really quiet, I know it sounds silly but try upping your volume first to see if that is the problem as I come across this frequently.
