I'm thinking of building an uber pc soon, and am considering the option of leasing.

The machine will basically be used as my work machine (webdev and design progs plus general IT s***) but also used for gaming. I have other pc's for my general use/pr0n.. so the new rig will be pretty clean and not have naughty stuff on it.

So I'm wondering about building a leet XPS machine and leasing with Dell, because I would be able to afford to get a better rig than if I was paying up front. Also I can claim a pretty large percentage back on it with tax cos its predominantly my work machine (right?).

Has anyone got any advice/experience with leasing? Is Dell the best to go for this?

or go to some store that does flexirent, etc, and you can lease it from them. doing it that way allows you to customise it

Leasing a laptop via salary sacrifice is great. Desktop attracts FBT, so no point.

BTW any cost for the loan (which is what leasing is minus the ownership at the end) will be passed on to you. Being business you may be able to write some of the cost off as a business expense (talk to an accountant) if it is a lease. If its a loan or a purchase I think you can decpreciate it ? *shrug*.

EziPay is another option, 3 stores in Brisbane do Ezipay.
