Rockstar have announced that their Xbox 360 Table Tennis title is ping ponging its way to the Wii:
Developed by Rockstar Leeds in collaboration with Rockstar San Diego, Rockstar Games presents Table Tennis is the perfect Wii gaming experience. Feel the unmatched speed and intensity of the real-life sport with an authentic physics engine and intuitive gameplay that mimics the exhilarating experience found in international competition.
Pretty good news for Wii owners; sports games seem to be where it excels and a pong game sounds like it'd be the goods.

f*** YES. There was a pong game on Wii Play but it was crap. This will hopefully be awesome. Might make it worth my while to return my Wii to Myer and exchange it for one that works >.<

Too many party games on the Wii, not enough solid single player games that make good use of the controls. I mean Mario Party 8 looks fun and all that, like all the other party games, but they're not really much fun when you don't have a party to play them at.

You'd think that, wouldn't you Billy. My Wii console stopped working too, and Toys R Us refused to RTM it. I ended up having to deal directly with Nintendo AU, and it ended up taking about seven weeks and forty of my hard earned dollars to fix the console under warranty. Dammit.

The only reason I haven't bought a Wii yet is because there aren't enough party style games. Maybe I'm missing them but when I look at the EB site all I see are games that I can buy on every other console out there, besides the Mario stuff.

Be interesting to see how exactly they implement the controls.
