For the wow players out there, if you don't already know about it, this is a pretty cool site.

It uses the armory data to work out which bosses a guild has downed (based on if anyone in the guild is wearing loot from a boss) and gives each guild a score and ranks them. You can get the rankings for your specific realm by hitting up the Realm List button at the top of the page.

they have 2 players playing 23 accounts each using 47 computers and other specialised software

so thats 46 x 15 bux a month + cost of 47 computers and internet

it would be easier to join a guild

+ i watched a movie where some guy with a 5 box setup went into BRD and soloed the fire dude.. i was going to reply that u can solo that dude as a rogue anyway... and dont need 5 computers to do it

I use to 2 box when I use to play WoW, it was easy and I could take on mobs a hell of a lot tougher than what solo players could. Melee/healer combo FTW.

i think the 5 box set up are all warlocks with 1 priest or something

you would find that most of the time they would own. a guy in DAoC called team wizzy used to run a full group of wizards and a minstrel. he would wipe out whole zergs with that setup.

They use 3 pc's.

1 has a main toon, 1 has a secondary, the 3rd rotate through the screens.

They use a device that pushes keystrokes from 1 machine to all the machines.
Then they set up the macros on those PCs so that pressing 1, 2 , 3 does whatever that toon needs to to do.

and pre TBC with some of the mods you quite seriously could have survived mashing 2 keys like a drone.

And for those that didn't read it.
They have 40something pc's
Him and his missus drive 23 each.
They use a bunch of diskless machines with a PXE boot arrangement. Apparently he has 57 copies of wow, which makes his monthly subscription 900+ a month.

So ... if you are "uber" in wow cos you have a level 70 toon with a few purples ... then this guy is whatever comes after uber.

erm i would guess they use those kinds of setups to bot heaps of characters and either sell gold or the chars. i bet they make a s*** load of money
