Absolutely awesome day to be in and around Hyde park etc... My camera shat itself so i had to remain just a spectator for the afternoon.. Good shots there Mooby, whereabouts were you? Getting a good vantage point was a bit tricky at the far end of the park and the old bill weren't making it any easier by taking people out of those little triangle fence linky bits... at one stage some press photographers managed to take over one but joe public was getting dragged out of them any chance the bill got...

Nice pics! Are you attending any of the other stages?

That was a great Prologue. O'Grady was absolutely flying around that corner, I wish he didn't stack it... perhaps there could have been some competition with Cancellara.

8:50 though, absolutely brutal time.

Now the REAL Tour starts tonight, but that was nice setting for the Prologue and a good start to the Tour.

REMINDER!

First real race starts tonight at 10:30pm on SBS, it's not midnight like the Prologue so make sure you watch it.

Stage 1 is a 203km race from London to Canterbury. With Cancellara wearing the yellow jersey and with a nice time lead, it's going to be hell. I predict there's going to be some SERIOUS battling for the green jersey, plenty of opportunities for sprinters.

WATCH IT!

yeah, on this weekend. massive weekend here!

i was at hyde park corner, then went inside the ring for a bit. the crowd was pretty much one deep down the serpintine, so could mussle in and get some shots.

not doing any more of the tour, got no holidays left this year! : (
