So,
My motherboard recently died much to my annoyance. I've done a bit of research and found a number of S939 boards that are affordable to replace my DFI Lanparty board. Here they are: Asus A8N-E -> $153 Gigabyte K8NF-9 -> $155 Gigabyte GA-K8VT890-9 -> $144 Gigabyte GA-K8NS -> $112 So outta these which ones has anyone had any bad experiences with and do I need to steer away from a certain one?.. I haven't found any bad reports per-say on any of them so hence my indecision. Cheers |

I'd go the gigabyte.
I've had all sorts of troubles with asus boards. Using an asus atm which has been good actually but my next board will be gigabyte. |

just get anything to get back up and running
All of those 939 boards listed above are likey to be reconditioned units from the distributer now. make sure that you get it in writing from the store that they will give you store credit if your chosen mobo fails inside the 12 month warranty. that's going to come in handy later when you haveto upgrade last edited by koopz at 15:56:17 27/Jun/07 |
