Honestly, for a good hairdresser you have to go into the CBD. Yes they're expensive, but you have a higher chance of walking into a good one there, than at 17 mile rocks...

Stefan is crap. If you're not after anything too fancy (read: gay), Figaro's Barber Shop (its not actually a barber), the one next to fitness first at indooroopilly shoppingtown is good.

if only some hairdressers would stampede themselves like in Mecca the average IQ of Brisbane would increase exponentially.

Figaros is the worst haircut imaginable. They're conveyer belt barbers.

There was a chick at S & S at Toowong who was awesome but she moved to some other one far far away :( I still go there though - $15!

Barbers FTW!

$11, cuts it exactly how I like and provides kick ass conversation. Been going to the same barber now for 13 years, not one complaint.

Hairdressers would just make me feel uncomfortable.

Barbers for men.

Hairstylist/Dresser for females, emo's, metro's and pillow-biters.

My sister is an apprentice, she reckons Toni & Guy (CBD) is up there, there are apparently a lot in the valley, she used to work at one called Chemistry for Hair at Bowen Hills.

And the rest... He did ask for the best though. She used to work at the Joh Bailey salons, and there you could pay upwards of a grand to have Joh cut your hair.

^^^ That's just farking stupid.

$1000 to cut hair? Absolutely bulls***.

NO HAIRCUT looks like $1000, even hollywood actors still only look like a $60 cut.

word on the street is.... they give blow jobs instead of lollipops after your cut and use golden clippers that you get to keep afterwards.

i use to go to barbers, always had the same guy cut my hair perfect just how i liked it and then i went in and some chick there cut my hair and f***ed it all up. nicked my neck with the clippers never been back since.

i go to some hair dresser down at the morning side shops, nice and close and never f***ed my hair really friendly people.

i could care less who cuts my hair as long as i am not sitting there for 30 mins bored out of my brains and they do a goodjob

sigh

i just went up to a local hairdresser up near where i used to live, i picked the hottest girl there and kept going back to her, i've been going to her now for like nearly 2 years. i just get 'the usual' these days with her it's great

i guess it helps that she has natural abiltiy, some of them are just s*** but yeah try and get hot girl cause face it who wants their hair but by a fatty or a guy. if they display some ability, go back to them.

best way is train them up how you want your hair cut

barbers are for bogans

If you want the best hairdressing salon then i would recommend:

Toni & Guy (CBD Right Upstairs of the Embassy)
Fabrik (Reasonably Priced, I think they have picked up a few awards here and there, they are opposite the beat in the valley)
Guggenheim (Wintergarden Level 2. Plenty of hotties but its pretty f***in pricey for what they actually do)
Oscar Oscar (Next to showgirls in the queen street mall, like opposite rocking horse. I was going to go here for my next appointment cause i reckon its an overhyped s***house salon.)

If you want the best individual hairdresser, then thats going to set you back hundreds. I think there is a guy at ashgrove who ive heard is f***in expensive, did Nicole Kidman's hair or something?

Anywho, best of luck
