So he f***ing should, he proved he was serious the first time by actually sending her to jail. Hes proved it again by sending her back, or if it was a different judge mega kudos for not folding to some bulls*** pressure/payoff.

The sheriff should be getting fired for the whole incident. Letting her go home for some trival reason about her "not coping in jail" would have opened a f***ing HUGE can of worms with anyone else sent to jail for similar reasons who wanted to protest about it.

Need some more Judges like this to throw out all the bulls*** lawsuits all over the country. Oh you burnt yourself on hot coffee? Okay lets see... how about get the f*** out of my courtroom you stupid gold digging bitch!

Paris back in jail

A LOS ANGELES judge has ordered a screaming and crying Paris Hilton back to jail to finish a sentence for probation violation, overturning a decision by the LA Sheriff's Department to have the celebrity heiress serve the sentence at home for medical reasons.
Screaming "Mom, Mom, it's not right," a dishevelled Hilton was led away from the courtroom in handcuffs after Superior Court Judge Michael Sauer ordered that the 26-year-old heiress had to serve out her sentence in the Los Angeles women's prison and not under house arrest.

Hilton had arrived in court looking ungroomed, with hair out of place, no makeup and wearing a grey sweat shirt, AP reported.

She looked distraught throughout the court proceeding, crying and shaking constantly.

Celebrity website TMZ.com reported that Hilton will now be checked back into Twin Towers Correctional Facility, where she will probably spend the weekend in a medical facility while her lawyer files an appeal.

Earlier in the day, there were wild scenes and a media circus as the infamous socialite was taken handcuffed from her home.

Photographers and cameramen laid siege to Hilton's home and news helicopters buzzed overhead as she was placed weeping into a sheriff's car.

Hilton, 26, had been transferred from jail to house arrest on Thursday for unspecified medical reasons after serving only three days of her 23-day sentence.

Citing privacy issues, officials have given no details of Hilton's medical problems but media speculation has ranged from a looming nervous breakdown to a rash.

The celebrity socialite was given a jail term after being caught driving her Bentley without a valid licence, a violation of her probation for a prior drunken-driving offense.

Thursday's decision to let her serve the sentence at home because of a medical complaint caused national outrage and accusations of favorable treatment.

I think she needs to be punished for breaking the law. I think the courts have to be as strict with her as with anyone else. However, someone like Paris has obviously been brought up on a different planet and I can see how going from a millionaires lifestyle to jail could cause health problems. Having said that, hopefully it will be harsh enough to shock her out of her alien life, but not so harsh that she is permanently damaged by it.

Oh thats just too awesome, that pic made my day :)

Hrm although on another site
Baca said Hilton was scheduled to serve another 18 days behind bars under a standard credit applied against her term for time served on good behavior.

i don't think shes had fair treatment at all

i think its been unnecessarily cruel simply so nobody can be seen to be as showing her any mercy because of her celebrity status.

compare her story to michelle rodrigues:

Because the Kailua incident was a violation of her Los Angeles probation, Rodriguez was sentenced to 60 days in jail, a 30 day alcohol rehabilitation program and another 30 days of community service, including work for Mothers Against Drunk Driving, by a judge in Los Angeles on May 1, 2006.[22] Because of overcrowding, she was released from jail on the same day she entered it.

where was the outrage in her case?

Somehow, someway, this stupid bitch will get a good deal out of this. Publicity, a show, interviews, it just seems to work this way, itll make her more of a f***ing superstar then ever, c***s......

Not even sure that sentence made sence, too tired from study, but the moral of the story is, i still hate her for not copping her medicine especially cause she has a truckload of cash waiting for her when she leaves....++++++ she could have got a shauver, something us drunk people cant do when we wanna go home......

Do i sound bitter or jelous or something? Probably, f*** you

so because you're not aware of any outrage for that example you provided, it now means paris hilton's treatment is unfair? that doesn't make sense to me

how many people _are_ made to serve the time compared to those who aren't?

We can only look at it with the information we read about. We all know about Paris's case so we all have an opinion. As for Michelle, this is the first I've heard about it and as far as I'm aware it certainly didn't get the press coverage that Paris got.

Then don't enter the thread?

In regards to the Michelle Rodrigeuz case, with overcrowding the way it is in Californian jails, I think I read that on average people serve like 10% of their sentences before being released.

I think the fact that she still fails to comprehend simple instructions like TURN UP IN PERSON TO COURT and continues to try and pass the blame onto all her servant peons is grounds enough for her dumb ass to be sent back to jail.

jim the point is, that in many of these sort of cases its standard procedure for people to be released early. i brought up michelle rodriguez because that was an example i knew of, though as it has been said its very common for sentences to not be served in their entirety. the fact that she was also a celebrity wasn't so much my point, but she served something like 4 hours of a 60 day sentence before being released without (as far as i know) the collar.

paris hilton on the other hand has the eyes of the world on her, and because of that they are making every effort to not appear lenient. theres also clearly the view that she deserves to be in jail more than others who have done the same thing, mainly because of her coming from a wealthy background. i don't think being a slut makes you more worthy of jail time.

i think its more class jealousy than actual comeuppance.

Really? I thought people just wanted Paris to do her full sentence. I must've missed the post where someone said "Paris Hilton should serve her full sentence, but everyone else in jail gets let out and a lifetime's supply of beer".

nF, do you think a regular US citizen would get 45 days for drink driving while on probation?

It's a celebrity sentence as it is, even if she serves the full 45 days, she's still getting off very lightly.

as the sheriff said, most people don't even go to jail for a probation violation. and a 45 day sentence is quite large for what it was from what i can gather. so no i don't think she is getting off lightly.

i'm well aware that there are no violins playing for the girl, but shes clearly being used as an example to show that the LA justice system is a lot tougher on offenders than it actually is.

I dunno if it's as clear as you're suggesting, without seeing actual figures that show the real numbers of people who get off early I don't have any reason to think she's being treated unfairly, or at least any more unfairly then a lot of other people who get less leniancy than others irrespective of their social or financial status

Story

PARIS Hilton's billionaire grandfather donated money to the election campaign of the sheriff who released the 26-year-old from jail, it was revealed yesterday.
The contribution from William Barron Hilton, 78, co-chairman of the Hilton Hotel chain, to Sheriff Lee Baca's re-election campaign is revealed in financial records and a friend of the Hilton family said the temporary release of the heiress last week may have been a "quid pro quo".

Sheriff Baca, who has faced heavy criticism for attempting to overrule the judge in the case, has in the past been accused of favouritism towards the Hollywood elite.

TMZ also said Hilton was taking psychotropic medication, but did not specify which drug. Psychotropic medications affect a person's emotions and behaviour and include drugs like lithium, which is taken for depression, and Valium, which eases anxiety.
LOL! Trying to make it sound like she's taking serious psychotropic medication.

Read: She's f***ing zonked out of her brains on benzodiazepines (probably a little Valium/Xanax/Klonopin whore).

If only it were true

A SHOCKING hoax e-mail which claims jailed heiress Paris Hilton has been stabbed multiple times by a digruntled inmate has begun circulating in Australia.
The hoax report features on the viral website www.omeletto.com and uses realistic CNN banners and livery in an attempt to fool the unwitting reader.

In the report, the story quotes "unnamed sources from within the Lynwood medical ward" saying that "Paris received two wounds to the chest, one to the back, one to the throat and three to the abdomen.
