Are you capped? even if youre not capped, telstra have uppped their 10gig plans to 12gig

and the best part is, you can ring them up, and as long as the account holder is around, you can get access to the extra 2gig right now!! i just did it and im uncapped again!! f***ing awesome!!!

i was looking on their plans site and was thinking wtf is this 12gig s***, and there was no 10gig plans anywhere to be seen. so i gave them a call and the lady actually offered to unshape my connection and give me the 2gig, then and there!!!

woot!!!

i am still on the 36gb optus plan. 2 good things about it: i get every 4th month (yes that's right due to bundling with home phone), and they will only let you upload roughly 30gb a month so downloading anymore would wack out my ratios.

i dunno where else i would get the downloads for 60gb outside torrents.

adsl2 upload is insane though.

What makes iinet such a good ISP? From a quick look at their plans they are by far the most expensive of the ADSL2+ providers.

All $59.95 plans
iinet
5gb + 5gb
Internode
20gb
TPG
30gb

IInet is good if you are on their network.

I used them up until the screwed over all their non iinet network customers.

I am with optus 20+40 now and don't have problems with their service. I am also on the same network though.

Ditto.

On Node now, with roughly the same price/quota iiNet used to offer back in their brighter days.

Haha I can't believe this warrants a thread.

And the thread is about how generous Telstra is as opposed to how stone-age their quota levels are.

I use to have Internode ADSL2, but just moved this week, and my new area doesn't have adsl2 (Carina), and there was no way I could return to slow adsl, so I went to the dark side...Bigpond cable.
