Hello.

I got a Teac DVD Player for christmas... I've never used a DVD player before so I don't know what to expect.

I bought the Final Fantasy DVD and chucked it in... it looks AWESOME. But in some parts, it will skip... much the same as a audio cd would skip if it were scratched. like the scene stutters and the audio stutters then it keeps going... is that a normal thing to be happening?

Also, it seems like it's f***ING QUIET... I've cranked up the volume as high as it will go on the DVD player... but to hear it at a "Normal" Level... i have to turn the volume on the TV up to about 50-70!~@!#@

It's f***ed when I watch a DVD on like 60 Volume level, then press stop and it switches back to TV, at which point i think i've gone deaf because it's SO f***ING LOUD.

Is there any way to fix these problems or are they just a normal occurence?

Thanks a lot fellas

is the DVD plugged into the TV direct or through a VCR?

if through a VCR theres your problem, its called copy protection, try connecting direct to the TV

try hiring another dvd out pharcyde and see if u get the same problems? Prob easier for a trip to the video store rather then waiting for the place u bought it from to open:)
