a mate of mine is getting pretty keen into directing his own movies, so he is making a few short stories and directing and filming them himself. this is his first one, not too bad.

Yeh I'm getting into short films at the moment too. I loved this one. I think the biggest issue was the hand held camera - I get what he's trying to do, but some moving shots looked a little home-movie cause of the small shakes. Tell him to look into cheap steady-cam rigs. There are some about that are quite inexpensive.

Editing was great, and the soundtrack was even better. Simple idea maybe dragged on for a little too long (but I guess I didn't get bored enough to stop watching), and I think the end was a bit predictable and disappointing.

Also, that was terrible the way he says something at the end that you can't hear where the narrator is speaking.
