A-hoy-hoy
I'm after a nice modern computer/office chair that's made out of that mesh type fabric as I'm getting sick of these padded leather type s*** chairs, it's killing my posture. I think I could push it as far as $800 or so.. anyone got recommendations or know of good (not officeworks) places to check chairs out? |

We had these chairs in the Sydney office, they are f***ING unreal~!
http://www.hermanmiller.com/CDA/SSA/Product/0,,a10-c440-p8,00.html Not sure if you could stretch it to ~1k but I believe they are around that... Personally after using one at work for 2 years and then going home to a s*** chair, it gave me the s***s and now over here in Ireland they don't have those chairs, it makes me a sad panda I will be buying one when I get back home to live, the way I see it, if you are going to be in the chair for 8+ hours (work, plus home useage) you need a good chair. No idea who sells them in brisvegas tho :/ |

If you can afford it yeah the Herman Miller Aero is awesome, I had one at work a few years back. Otherwise go to Empire Furniture at Windsor to get some nice chairs.

Yeah Streker the Empire furniture has a similar style mesh chair called Ergomesh for about $369 don't know how good it is tho. The Aeron (the one that boba linked) was about $2000 AUD when I looked at it about 5 years ago. So expect to pay about that at the minimum. |

Just go out to Empire, they have some chairs going that are "damaged" that have nothing wrong with them but are sold at 1/2 price because the box they came in was damaged.
I picked up an 800$ chari for 400, it was a big leather one, but the quality is awesome. Besides it's always best to look in person and they have quite a good range on the floor. |

mesh? wait what? You mean the back is all metal? won't that get uncomfortable after a while? I know sitting on those hardass chairs at qgl used to make my back ache after a while.

Another vote for the Aeron, but I admit they are a tad pricy.

Herman Miller Mirra Chair is meant to be pretty good too, bit less than the Aeron. They've got an office in wickham st, you can probably go check em out.
