I have one, but unless the sale can fund a whole new computer I won't be parting with it.

I had one and it rocked but it died and had the same problem as you so had to get a new compy :(

i did do a quick quote for new parts to replace, $400 bux for a nothing flash box with all the latest gear . . .

I've got a nforce 2 board ... its not asus though, albatron i think.

You can give it a crack for $10. I'm pretty sure it worked last time it was in a system.

I have an Abit NF7-S V2.0 sitting in the cupboard and was used for only a short time, it's in top nick. I also have a v1.2 but the bios needs reflashing. All in all I have got 6 x NF7-S's but 4 are in the kids and the missus PC's.

You can have the NF7-S v2.0 for $20.
