I want to buy a AA battery charger as I have a digital camera and was wondering if anyone could recommend a decent charger unit.
I really only need to charge 4 batteries max at any one time. Seems like there are some around the $30 mark at my local Woolies but I have seen them for around $60. What should I expect to pay for a reliable charger with batteries that last a decent amount of time? |

i use a 4 battery sony one that has an lcd display that shows the amount of charge and whether its discharging a pair or both pairs or charging all (you can obviously do one pair at a time)
seems pretty handy. it has a refresh thing aswell for those quick charges you need in emergencies cant remember price =/ |

I got a couple of Energiser Compact Rechargers to do batts for my camera and stuff and the kids toys/xbox360 controllers ect.. Each one can hold 4 AA and 4 AAA batteries (also 9v as well) at the same time and they plug directly into the wall socket, no leads or anything. They have worked really very well. recommended. They cost about $25 each and come with batteries. You just have to buy the extra ones you need.

Psycho is on the money. We have a few of them to charge batteries for the Wii remotes. No complaints and works well

I use "inca" chargers, got them from harvey normans. I don't think they sell them anymore though, those bastards, sux too because they used to come with 2500mAh batteries and they last for ages in my powers*** camera.
