any site that has a magazine is usually ok. But i hit up gamespot or 1up a fair bit (mostly console news, cause nothing ever happens on the pc anymore that doesn't have 1 years worth of build up).

What was the last PC game that you went straight out and bought that didn't have any big press around it? The only one i can think of is Medieval 2, and apart from being disapointing, it did actually get a fair run in the media long before it came out due to the previous hits in the series.

Riddick:Escape from Buthcer Bay. Complete 'sleeper' that one, never heard of it until I grabbed a snippet of it in some news piece about non US game developers, really really very good game.

I dont think riddick was a sleeper, especially if you are talking about the pc version as the console version which preceeded it got a heap of good press and talk about its graphics. And there was the whole movie tie in thing too (although the movie bombed right?)
