Definitely not :) I just don't understand the point of saying "OMG, I don't need someone telling when I should be romantic, stuff them we don't believe in valentines day" and then making a point of not doing anything and thus removing any normal show of emotion on that day just to prove a point.

Valentines day isn't about spending money but a lot of people see it as all it is and try and be a hero by boycotting it.

edit: I should say what we do on valentines day suits me just fine and what other people do doesn't impact me at all

The woman got breakfast in bed and that's it.. no stupid bears, flowers, chocolates or other meaningless overpriced crap today.

I just don't see why making it a special day is such a horrible thing. It doesn't lessen the love shown on any other day and it doesn't belittle the love that is shown on that day either.
