A new patch for World of Warcraft is out, updating the MMO to version 2.07. Grab the update from 2.07 locally from AusGamers.

I thought something was up when I'd be in SW and get a warning message Honor Hold was under attack. And I wish they'd fix the f***ing LFG system. It's still f***ed and it still doesn't work.

Yeah, but no good games are coming out until Feb 22.
And GeForce 8600s arent due out until mid-March... no it's all WoW/no Supreme Commander for me until mid-March.
Spore will be my mid-year fun.

maybe if we didnt all pirate games 5-10 years ago there would be more diversity and choice when it came to new releases

Or maybe there wouldn't because people would spend more diversely, with there being less 'big' games and more who are only just struggling to get by, unable to afford the funds required to do lots of great new technical things.

Just thought you guys would be interested in knowing that I'm now exalted with Darn and IF. Almost there with Exodar and the gnomes as well. Wish I could do the the blood evles too because I want to ride around on that stupid looking bird. That thing looks awesome.

EDIT: Prolly should say I'm a human lock so it makes sense. Also excalted with SW but that means nothing.

I quit for like 8 months then came back to it just before expansion.

I have one level 60 of each class on Azgalor for alliance, and have a level 65 and a level 55 on the new server Anub'Arak for horde. I hit 60 a day before expansion came out with the new server, a day later I was geared better than all my 60s on Azgalor. I like the fact that I didnt waste months raiding with americans at odd hours, and now have an aussie guild on the new server.

I know its upsetting that people who spent the greater part of their lives last year grinding in the battlegrounds and other areas but for some reason it makes me extremely happy. I only play for like 2-3 hours every few days.

Same, now all of my gear for my hunter (with the exception of a few blues from quests) is made up of green items, that surpass what you could have gotten from 20 man raids, BG's etc (except the look, I do admire the look of the complete sets of gear, mine looks like I just woke up and threw on what ever I could find).

I was still dropping lvl 61-64 with 3 piece HWL gear @ lvl 60.
Though I'll admit, anything not wearing cloth 63+ was hard to solo.

A 61 mage popped a POM Pryo on me. 31XX CRIT.
My mates' 60 Mage fireballs HIT just shy of 3000dmg.

That's an exagerration, but if you haven't replaced your vaunted full T3 by level 70, then you have probably been protecting set bonuses that mean you're now weaker than you would have been.

Why?

Breaking set bonuses means that a single level 65 blue / green will very likely make you weaker. However bonuses aside the piece is an upgrade. If you don't ignore your set bonuses and evaluate slots individually you will be comparatively weaker than nubs in clownshoes.

Also, a level 61 in full xpac greens & some hellfire 5 man gear will probably have very close to the powa of a 60 in full T3 ara :(

I had a great time replacing my t1/t2 epics with blues that are better than t3.

I laugh at the people still holding onto their epics which can be replaced by quest items.

Can't complain about repairs either :)

Hunter tier 2 epics are better than MOST gear you'll encounter between 60 and 70. There's some s*** hot blues at 70 though.

Rogue class is totally fine in TBC imo. Just need to get the right new blues and your AP/hit/crit/etc blows off the map.

I had an enhancement shammy in the guild try and say that he could confidently say he could out-dps me.. So I'm like okay dude, I'd like to see this!

12% more damage on the meters (in my favour) later, and he says that it's because of my gears.. I'm like haha no way chump, learn your place in raids and spec resto.

Just because he out-dps'd his girlfriend (who was a rogue), he thought he was king dps and it's like saaaaarp, your girlfriend needs to learn2dps mang!

Jabroney: I'm on the alliance side. Nelf hunters ruled back when you could charge an aimed shot while staying shadowmelded. The shadowmeld nerf was the biggest bulls*** in the game ever. Now nelfs have the worst racials in the game IMO.
