got a new work phone as above

have transferred all my contacts over, but new phone refuses to display caller id on incoming calls

have updated general profile to show caller (its checked) and general profile is active

have turned phone on and off, tried other profiles

have copied contacts to and from sim (trying everything at this stage)

nothing helpful in the manual (it just says have it turned on and will work on all in contacts)

When I got a new phone a while ago with Optus I had to call them to enable caller ID. A few other peeps had to do the same thing. It's supposed to automatically enable but alas, it sometimes doesn't.

but not the contact details

i dont know any of my contacts phone numbers, i want to see who they are

had multiple entries for numbers, so the phone would just use no contact

I got an N73 about 2 weeks ago and hated it. Ended up going back to my old phone Nokia 3230.

update the firmware from nokias website and it will be fixed, i had the same problem with my n80

also, porblem solvered as above ^^

i dont like a lot of new things about the nokia (came from a sony)

but hard to go past its camera (3.2 mp carl zweis lens)

i just wish they'd bring the n95 out already
