Hello everyone,

I'm making my return post to QGL after more than a year absence to post about the most bizarre dream I just had. I've met Trog perhaps once, maybe twice through Tung more than 2 or 3years ago. And i've posted on QGL once in the last 2years. So whilst I know that Trog may still be the subject of schoolboy fantasy I can assure you his name doesn't creep into my head whilst I toss and turn at night like some of you.

Anyway here is the dream as it unfolded. I'm at UQ studying for an upcoming final, for some reason I have to drink a red drink that's something like paint or blood as part of my preperation but after that I sit down in one of the Computer Labs to get cracking. I recieve this kind of bizarre message from a "Trog" (I don't have trog on any of my message programs as far as I know) it's something like a code or reference to a book. I say hey what's up, what do you mean, something to that effect. Trog as he is known for his famous dragonesque flame proceeds to turn internet warrior on me and starts getting angry, actually at this point i'm angry as well. We exchange some heated internet type speak but I think at this point it's mostly in jest.

Suddenly and this part of the dream is a little blurry, trog either electric zaps me or kicks me in the balls using some computer technology we can only dream of. I jump up after being dazed for a few moments on the floor now i'm super pissed. I storm out of the computer room on a mission to find Trog.

For some reason I realise immediately that Trog must be in the UQ library computer room. A few minutes of me running and I arrive. But which lab? I wander from lab to lab and mistakenly jostle a few guys who look like Trog (I'm not sure I would actually recognise Trog at all anyway). At some point I pick up this huge weighty tomb I think it's an encyclopedia but it looks a lot like the book from Evil Death something obviously bound in the skin of the dead. Which I assume will be perfect for knocking Trog to the ground.

Finally I arrive at room where I notice a guy with a hat (as I recall the real Trog would be wearing a bandana but dreams occasionally lie) which says "TROG" in bold letters, thus allowing me to easily identify him. I swing the book at him, he catches it flush in the chin, i'm sure he'll be knocked out. Trog actually pounces back off the ground pretty quickly, but I get him in some kind of sleeper hold after a struggle. Then I woke up and my arm was still tensed in the choker hold.

So this friends was my bizarre dream which led me back to QGL after this huge absence. As a matter of course I'm actually returning back to Australia and UQ to finish my degree this month so for my fans who would like a re-enactment or Trog a beer to settle some grudge which obviously lies in my subconscious I will likely be around the RE and other Brisbane clubs and pubs once more.

How about rather than dreaming about fighting trog you actually go right on ahead and punch him in the face a couple of times. Then you'll have something to come back and tell us about.

Ok well as some of you know I was in China playing poker, which has served me well though the internet basically s*** it's pants about 5mths ago here and packet loss made it impossible to play so i've been living of my savings which have no dwindled to none.

I was however making some seriously good coin for a little while and living an outlandish party lifestyle. This brings me to the cocaine. In China the drug market for foreigners is completely controlled by Africans, mostly Nigerians, it's suprisingly open as well in most clubs you can score anything (most guys are carrying hash up to heroin). I had some poker friends who visited from the US and Australia, in that time I started doing some coke.

One of the things about China is that drugs aren't especially cheap but more than Australia, but the quality is better than anything you can find in Australia. The coke I was getting was being brought in directly from Columbia or Venezuela I was getting it high in the food chain so it was not cut at all. Anyone who's done great coke like this will tell you it's an amazing high.

Unfortunately I probably took it a bit far, I was doing 2-4 grams in a single 24-48hr binge, then crashing out and doing more again. Luckily I was playing great poker, but I didn't save much money. I did have some amazing nights and stories that will remain untold.

In hinesite I would say coke is a pretty dangerous drug it is easy to abuse although it is in no way physically addictive. I was able to stop when I had better things to do with my time, like returning to study and focusing on other persuits. But when I go out after a few drinks it still regularly drifts into my mind to go and score a gram. That being said I think people on coke are much less tardy than drunks. I have a few friends who use it purely as a party drug and seem to manage that, at this point in my life i'm not sure I could so I just steer away from it.

Other facts about drugs in China, coke costs $100USD - $125USD a gram if it is high grade. Coke you buy off the street from random Africans is usually cut to s*** with K, which means many people feel ill when they snort it. Ecstacy costs $12.5USD a pill, the quality ranges from s*** to very good. K was/is popular with local rich Chinese or triad types and was sold in some clubs although government has cracked down alot on this and I haven't seen it take place in big cities.

Clearly this dream means you are destined to kill trog upon your return and assume control off the Ausgamers kingdom.
