i print pdf's from adobe acrobat reader and have never had a problem?

Yeah, thats because the pdfs you print were created with a decent freeware, or a paid-for pdf printers. I'm talking about printing from a document to a pdf, alot of the freeware stuff spam stuff on the pdf when its finished, and causes all sorts of frustrations.

i just print to file and ninja up some ps2pdf on my print files

enrol in IT at UQ and use the pdf printer in one of the labs
