Are there any asp.net coders about? I've pretty much only windows forms in dot net 2005.

ive just built a little site and it runs fine locally.

Ive just bought some hosting, and a simple defualt.aspx page crashes, any ideas why?

Its written in 2005 but i think the servers only 1.1 frame work.

is it a really simple 'hello world' style test page? if so I'd contact your host and ask them to fix it. sounds more like a server problem than a programming thing that a .net programmer could help you with

Make sure the the host has your site running as 2.0 if they offer .NET 2.0 that is.

Some hosts will allow you to have multiple applications with either the option of each one being 1.1 or 2.0 while other hosts limit you to the entire site no matter how many applications you have being either 1.1 or 2.0.
