Wow, I just got home from work to find news reported that a new version of Deus Ex 2 will be made. The new version is to be called Deus Ex: The Second Chance.

"Deus Ex: Second Chance is certainly not a joke", answered Warren Spector, after being asked by interviewers if he should be taken seriously again after his last effort.

"Second chance will bring back the Deus Ex franchise, and the playable character will be JC Denton", added Spector.

Hopefully this game will actually be released, unlike DNF.

Absolutely loved deus ex.. Then played a bit of the deus ex 2 demo and thought it was s*** so i never got into it. :(

Deus Ex...man why dont't they make em like that anymore. f*** that was a cool/good game. Riddick Escape from Butcher Bay was close but the ol Deus Ex still brings back very fond gaming memories. Deus Ex 2 was a let down IMO.

Speaking of Escape from Butcher Bay, I can't wait for The Darkness, the new game by those guys. Even if it wasn't from those guys, I'd probably be interested, cos you get to summon demons and tentacle rape people, but then add on top of that that its from the dudes behind Riddick, and it just shoots to the top of my "Must have" list.

HOLY s***!! I just watched that in game footage, man that looks insane. Totally insane.

p.s although somewhat disappointingly it appears the Darkness will only be console. :( Shame cause Riddick looked so awesome on a good spec PC.
