Are there any dangers in laying your monitor on its side?
reason: using Propeller Heads Reason 3 software which has 2 screens, want to put the audio rack on 2nd monitor with 90 degrees rotation... cheers |

If you only have holes at the top of the monitor, ventilation may be a problem when sideways. Don't have any definitive information about anything else (magnetic field, etc).

There should be an option to rotate the screen in your display options, eg. nVidia cards have nvrotate. Why do you want the rack on its side?

I know older monitors went all crazy with their colours the same way as if you stuck a magnet next to it.

i use to turn my TV on its side to play Raiden 2 on the PS. At the time the advice was leave it off for a half hour or so before turning it back on.

Why do you want the rack on its side?I'm guessing physically rotate screen to then rotate the program in the software for more vertical height of the application? |
