Ok guys, Just Cars doesn't quite suit my needs for car insurance, their policy clearly states they will not insure me for:
"Loss of damage directly or indreictly caused by, arising from, or connected with: the use, misuse or existence of nuclear weapons; or the use, misuse, escape or existence of nuclear fuel, waste or nuclear materials or ionising radiation or contamination from such fuels, waste or materials or combustion, detonation, fission and/or fusion of nuclear fuel or nuclear materials"Does anybody know any insurance companies that will cover me to tow nuclear warheads and conduct fission experiments in my boot? [p.s. Kat thread ++;] |

Other statements:
"Loss or damage caused by war, warlike activies or revolution including any looting or pillaging."Makes sense... Thought that would probably cover Terrorism/bombing as well... Fair enough. Biological Statement: Loss or damage directly or indirectly caused by, arising from, or connected with actual or threatened chemical or biological pollution or contamination; or action taken by a public authority or any body authorised by a public authority to prevent, limit or remedy such actual or threatened release, pollution or contamination.Fair deal, someone lets off chemical weapon and Jack Bauer uses my car to confine the thing... I might live through that... I don't think anything nuclear related, getting an insurance claim (or policy) would be on the top list of my priorities..... [edit] fixed Bauer's name omg. last edited by Loki at 00:15:39 21/Dec/06 |

It does seem a little ludicrous, I know the last thing on my mind if I was hauling nuclear weapons around in my car was whether I was insured or not..

I remember reading through the insurance on Radio rentals stuff years ago (1996 or something) an it had the same disclaimer.
I can guarantee tho, if there was a nuke detonated in Bris, an a couple of weeks later that company (radio rentals - not the "other" company...) comes by asking for their gear back or expecting me to pay for any damages resulting from emp/explosion, they won't get a polite answer. |

Yeah out last Boat insurance came with;
You WILL NOT be covered if your boat is exploded by terrorists, OR destroyed by the Police in the pursuit of Terrorists. Or something to that effect. |
