Really tempted to buy one of these.. but I can wait until after Christmas if they are gonna come down in price.

Will they come down in price much? Or should I just buy one now?

I assume JB Hifi have the best price?

BillyH went to Indro JB today, they're sold out. I don't expect a price drop in the immediate future.

doubt there will be a price drop after xmas they are already cheaper than all competitors... dunno tho

the main thing stopping me is lack of games at the moment

Yeah for games that actually ahve been written well for the wiimote, it's damn good. ie, wii tennis, in multiplayer. There's no single player at all in tennis and I suspect because they never got around to writing the AI logic for 1on1. Same with Boxing, it's reasonable for one player, but it goes to complete s*** if you have two players. Definitely a concept showoff, the boxing.

There are consoles around still, just keep looking. As far as waiting, why wait if you have money now? As people already pointed out the price is unlikely to drop in the near future.

Games wise Zelda should keep you occupied for a while. Warioware comes out in January as well which looks like great fun..and of course you have Wii Sports packed in.

I got that impression with the whole wii sports pack - it seems like a polished product demo to me. there's not much depth/options/configuration in the games, they are very basic, not much more than 'heres what you can do with this controller system'. not that it's bad, it's good fun and it's great that it's bundled.

Yeah, just like Wiiplay.

It is just to show the users how the wiimotes work and what can be done with them.

Im sure they were all showed to the game developers of third parties aswell so they can see what can be done.

The whole concept of the Wii is that anyone can play, that is why there are these easy fun to play game packs out early that don't require much skill and can be played by all ages.

I mentioned the Wii to the guy at EB Indro today when I was buying an xbox360 xmas pressies for my sons, he said they still had a 'few out the back' not secured or held but he reckons they would probably go today.

Why do you assume that we would know if there is going to be a price drop soon?
