If you want to share your Wii console code to the friendly people of QGL then paste it here.

I know it won't do much good until next year when the online games come out, but at least we can get it out of the way.

Mine is

lol mr hardware.

boba, go to your address book in the messages menu (bottom right on main menu)

mine is 0466 1448 9377 5508

basically the main sharing functionality now is the ability to share mii's you create, and also send inter-wii (lol) messages, and emails etc, and I'm pretty sure you can also send digital images from your SD cards.

when you register a friend in the address book you can send emails to them, and they can email back from pc's and everything.

The Wii creates your own email address with the wii code, so my email address is

w0466144893775508@wii.com

This is a much better system than the 360s gamertag method.

I have to go buy an access point for my wired LAN now.. unless there's a cheaper way to go wireless?

nintendo sell a usb dongle that you plug into your computer for $50 which does it.. with the downside that you have to have your computer on. I've also read that any old generic usb wired network adapter will work when plugged into the Wii, rather than waiting for nintendo's official one to be released. Although I don't have one spare to try it.

Do you have to both have added each others for them to mingle?

Don't DLink also have a $60ish router? (514)

Both Wiis need to have each others codes entered.
In the Mii parade, set the travel option to Travel.
Each Mii you want to travel abroad has to be set to mingle.

Keep an eye out for my Wacko Jacko and Miyamoto Miis showing up on ur Wiis.
ps: Who's Mii is the bald short guy with the name John H? (Howard?)

I only have Trent and John H in my mii parade. Why don't my own two travel enable miis appear in the parade? or am i just meant to grab trent and John and put them in my thing then watch them there?

Mii parade is for Mii's that come from other systems. They mingle in the parade and from there you can choose what ones to drop into the plaza. Mii's that are in the plaza will then appear in your Mii enabled games (Wii Sports, Wii Play, etc)

I stopped talking about it then.

My bad, it is 1174 2046 4581 0048

My Wii's in my downstairs living room and my PC is in my bedroom, I couldn't be f***ed writing it down so I just tried to memorize it hehe.

I'm getting my Wi-Fi USB Connector tomorrow so hopefully everything is sweet.

I was really getting into the Mii channel today making Miis of various people and dragging in Miis from the parade.
After 30mins, I sat back to watch the group for a while and I came to realise that there really isn’t any depth in it at all after the initial enthusiasm.
All they do is stand around, wave at each other and occasionally sneeze. In fact it’s so boring that the Miis often fall asleep upright.

No doubt there will be an animal crossing type game that will fully utilize the Mii channel in future.

I'm going to go get a single player game. I played a heap of Zelda and loved it, but can anyone recommend any other good single player ones? Call of Duty any good? I'm just using a crappy oldschool TV.

Rayman looks like a good party game; I'm tempted to go try find a copy of Super Monkey Ball - that looks like good fun.

You dont add your own email address, you add the email addresses of people you want to send emails to, and they'll get an email telling them you added them, and asking them to authenticate, and once they do they'll be able to email your wii and you'll be able to email them from your wii.
