Saw this on news.com.au ....

Tabcorp cost cuts to slash 100 staff
TABCORP Holdings plans to slash at least 100 jobs from its information technology, human resources and finance departments over the next 12 months, as management speeds up cost-cutting efforts across the group to generate total annual savings of $21 million.

Does this affect you d[o_0]b?

normally about 2$ sometime more of course can be less as well. NSW just has a better online setup and daily form service ftw.

i know what you're thinking whoa $2 big deal
but $100 @ 4.10 = 410 / $100 @ 6.10 = $610

doob will have to explain that one to ya crizane my dad explained it to me once before but i forget, i just win the monies. :)

i know quins/ex/tris all depend on how much money is in the pool as to how much you win, also how many horses you choose, for example quinellas you might choose 3 horses for a $1 which should cost you $3 and then if it pays $490 you get a 3% percentage of that maybe? not sure on the %

STANDARD QUINELLA
For a Standard Quinella, just choose the first two placegetters past the post, in any order. As long as your two selections finish first and second, you collect the Quinella dividend.

BOX QUINELLA
With a Box Quinella you can choose as many runners as you like, providing two of your selections finish first and second, in any order. The more runners you 'Box' in a Quinella the more combinations you get. For example, if you 'Box' four (4) runners, say numbers 1,2,3 and 4, you get six (6) combinations: 1-2, 1-3, 1-4, 2-3, 2-4 and 3-4. Four (4) runners 'Boxed' in a Quinella will cost $A6 for a $A1 bet and $A3 for a 50 cent bet.

BANKER QUINELLA
If you feel there's a 'sure thing' in a race that looks certain to win or at worst run second, then a Banker Quinella is a perfect type of bet. Your 'Banker' would be the 'sure thing' and you can group it with any number of other runners in that race. Providing your 'Banker' runs first or second and any one of your other selections finishes first or second with your 'Banker', you win the Quinella. The more 'other' selections you take the more combinations you get. For example, if you took a 'Banker' with six (6) other runners you would get six (6) combinations. This bet would cost $A6 for a $A1 bet and $A3 for a 50c bet.

A Multiple Quinella allows you take as many runners as you like for each placing. For example, you can take three (3) runners for first or second, and five (5) runners to fill the other placing. Provided that one of your runners selected in the first leg places either first or second, and one of your runners selected for the second leg fills the other placing (second or first), then you win the Quinella. See an example in Netbet Express.

WHAT IF ONE OF YOUR RUNNERS IS SCRATCHED?
If one of your runners is declared a 'non-runner' or is scratched after you have placed your bet, your money will be refunded on every combination which includes the scratched runner.
