ah k - found some info on Stefens Q1 plates...


'bought for 100k some time back, today they're insured for a tad over $450k. he ditched the Porche some years back opting for a new Merc instead. All up, ~$750k worth of car. While it's prolly money well spent, I kinda get the feeling this thing spends most of it's life locked away somewhere safe.


the plates on the Merc are replicas (or replicas?) - 'originals' are stashed away for safe keeping

ya know - thinking about that now - I can't help but quaestion the 'insurance' part of that story... how the hell do you 'insure' plates that were replicas to begin with?.. unless he's got the originals also... meh

I used to work in south bris and went on a walk in my lunchour every now and then. I would walk right past stefans and Q1 (black merc) would be sitting in the yard. Also, he had another merc with 'QUE ONE' plates on it as well.

i saw the q1 plates on a red porsche about 6 months ago on the cruising on the m1
