The pilot performed "a low pass" over the runway, and then touched down approximately 1,000 feet beyond the approach end of the 2,948-foot long runway, with a tailwind of approximately 10 knots. After touchdown, the airplane continued off the end of the runway, and subsequently impacted water. According to the Cessna 525A Landing Distance Chart, an airplane with a landing weight of 11,400 pounds required 3,000 feet of landing distance, in a no wind situation. With a 10 knot tailwind, the airplane required 3,570 feet of landing distance.

The plane ends up in river at the end of the runway. Once everyone was out the plane engine magically starts up again and starts moving thru the water.

hehe that pilot is so f***ed. Talk about how to lose your license in one easy go, ffs not only does he come in hot he comes in with a tail wind..what a f***in goose. And even then you dont hear him reverse the engines at all, hehe he just keeps going? maybe he was thinking of going around again? Surely someone in the tower must have been screaming at him that he was landing the wrong way?

A good demo of how reliable the jet engines are.firing up again in water and running so well for that period of time, they are lucky only one started up and she went in a circle otherwise she might have made land.

wow those must be some dumbass cops if they can't see a plane sailing through the bay all by itself when they're standing right there.
