Massive storm, hail, gusty winds, etc etc coming for the Northern suburbs it seems.

Batten down the hatches!

Seems to be missing Brisbane but smashing the dams hopefully (even if only for a short amount of time).

Thunder here.

A small bit of thunder and that nice little calm before the storm feel, only a few birds churping. Thats at Gaythorne.

I went out of the office (work in the CBD) to run an errand at about 12.30 and it was all sunny and shiny and hot, and then half an hour later when I went on lunch it was black and windy! So surreal!
I work on level 27 of the Riverside Centre on Eagle street, can watch it coming accross from the north east its just incredible.

Just got an SMS from the GF - power went out at our house in North Lakes :S

that first storm looks to head north, but there's another on the radar that looks like it'll hit us

well it was a bit over rated.. still a bit of thunder around but mainly was just f***off heavy rain and a little thunder and lightning for half hour or so.. i expected it to go alot longer..
f***ed up the ausstar satellite a few times though :(

yeah wasn't that bad down here on the gold coast. seriously close lightning strikes right above these places, pretty strong wind, extremely heavy rain, but lasted only about half an hour

Piss weak, city got nothing but a bit of rain.
