It's bad enough that I hate Telstra with a passion and can't get off the bloody GameArena spamlist, but 'annoying' is that I currently have 8 Telstra popunders which have loaded from viewing pages on the QGL forums.

Whaaaa, fix it please!? :(

I worked on the assumption that everyone had a popup blocker - I know I do

Also, obviously you should only get one (per day or something), if you're getting more than one, help me to help you by providing useful information about your browsing environment so I can tell the ad people

Dirty dirty ads I haven't allowed any but every QGL page I've been to this morning has come up with a blocked popup message from FF... so far.

trog,
IE7 release - getting one new popunder window per page I visit. Not using any popup blockers.

On the plus side Safari (Mac) doesn't see them at all. Pssst, don't tell them about that one :)

ad company has changed it so you should only get like 1 every 6 days. No f***ING idea why they thought one every page load'd be a good idea

Speaking of Firefox. I've lost the ad-block thingy that's normally sitting in the bottom right corner. It went away, dunno why and I can't find the option to enable it again.

^^ tools -> extensions -> addblock (double click on it)
options -> show in statusbar or whatever your preference.

there's a spamlist?

there's a weekly newsletter, which incidentally is pretty easy to unsub from in my opinion

No Jim, I'm talking about the game challenge stuff. Some tool signed me up as a team leader years ago and ever since I've been trying to get off it. There's no unsub details, in fact, no real details of any kind.

It worked out all right in the end though because I sent Telstra a warning/notification I'd be invoicing them for each email received, just for fun. They paid the first couple but stopped, so they must have caught on :)
