Does anyone know when the Biol Library is re-opening? I thought it was supposed to be opened again in August/start of semester 2 but I walked past yesterday and it was still under construction...

The Biological Sciences Library, Building 94 on the St. Lucia campus, is being refurbished in 2005/2006. During this time the Library is operating from a temporary location, Biol Sci @ Richards, which is located on Level 2 of the Richards Building (no.5).

i know that doesn't really answer your question but considering second semester is almost over and IF there are no delays then soon :)

They said it would take 12 months and started about 13 months ago.... so possibly soon?

looked pretty much done to me when i walked past it today, i'd venture that they won't open it till after xmas though as they'll be doing finishing touches and will have to move books back

They've removed a lot of the temporary fencing in the last week or so. I know this doesn't answer your question exactly, but it suggests that things are beginning to be wrapped up.

(Of course, you could say the same about the green bridge.)
