Twas released in 2003 but it's only just been released out here on DVD.

The rags-to-riches-to-rags story of Troy Duffy, a blue collar Boston twenty something that struck a dream movie deal with Miramax in 1997 to direct the $15 million project "Boondock Saints" from his own script. It was a deal that received worldwide attention. But when Miramax jumped ship and put the film in turnaround, Duffy's overnight success soon starts to crash and burn.

The doco is filmed over about 4 years I think and it shows just how much of a jerk this guy really is. He was pretty much offered anything he wanted by Miramax films' head honcho, Harvey Weinstein, but because of his ego he lost everything and made bugger all from the film.

So if you wanna see some jerk-face who thinks he's all that get taken down a peg or two, then check out this doco. Very funny indeed.

Absolutely, although I remember that there was meant to be a sequel, but obviously that isn't likely to happen.

Just finished watching "Overnight" and I have to say this guy "Troy Duffy" is the most arrogant d******* in movies. Before he had even made his first movie "Boondock Saints" he was proclaiming himself the biggest and best in Hollywood...what an ass.
