Hey guys... I got a really old HP monitor that is dark as s***, it's on 100% everything and is still extremely dark.

I got onboard video atm, ATI Radeon XPRESS 200... I have downloaded the Catalyst Control centre, and under Colour, I can adjust "Desktop" brightness fine... there is also a "Full Screen 3D" that you can adjust... but this doesn't seem to apply inside games at all.

Anybody know how to adjust in game brightness with this Catalyst Control Centre? If not, is there anyway I can adjust overall brightness of the monitor in general... help would be grealy appreciated.

I had the same problem with my old s***ty computer + monitor. I just did it the dodgy way, apply gamma/brightness hotkeys in control centre and spam it in game, it was dodgy but it worked.

Don't look at this as a bad thing but rather an opportunity to get yourself a new and improved monitor to cast off the oppresion your old crappy monitor has enforced upon you!

Go out and find that new hero and kick that zero monitor to the curb girlfriend!

It's my old HP monitor from when I got a cutting edge 200mhz HP :)

BTW the hotkeys thing worked perfect... absolute champion!!

Powerstrip's another application which helps in this.
