They really should allow either broncos or knights to host that game rather then have it in sydney in the same stadium which st george and manly played in last night. Attendence of only 20,000 or so is pathetic for a finals match as none of either teams supporters can really make it to the game. =(

I didn't get to see the Broncos/St. george game. Do you reckon Broncos performed poorly that game or are St. George that much better than the Broncos?

Broncos just played s***house. That was all.
You could see the tries coming from like 3 plays away. Their defense was just s*** and made way too many mistakes.

I think it came down to them not having to win so they were far too relaxed.

oh yeah, so how are you going to choose who gets the home ground advantage (WHICH IS HUGE) and would this extend to sydney clubs too, or only to out of state clubs? what about if the warriors were still in? 20k attendence is ok compared to moving it to a stadium with capacity of 15k (e.g. storm's homeground)

haha you fag, they're playing the bulldogs who finished in second place and won in the first week of finals. why should the final be moved up to brisbane who finished below them and lost in the first week?

Thats just what I heard the commentators say after tonights game.
Also because they got over 50,000 to turn up to the last 1 maybe has something to do with it?

You are right tho it should be a dogs home game but the point was it shouldn't be held at Aussie Stadium.

I rather a small stadium thats packed over a huge stadium that is empty which ruins the atmosphere. You watch the game as a finals match and theres empty seats everywhere (even guss made a comment about it). Why not whoever won the first week have the ability to host? That would have allowed for the knights and saints to host the games vs brisbane and manly who both lost on the first week.

EDIT: Personally i only ment for it to apply for this weekends game and not the semi's coming up

I dunno about you, but I'd rather be at a huge half-filled stadium watching my team rather than not being able to get a ticket at a smaller stadium, no?

Now that they don't have to play a game every weekend at the MCG look at the AFL system, it's not that different but I think works much better.

They could work out some s*** to see who gets the home advantage. All I know is that 50k people would of turned up to lang park to watch that.

Yeah, I agree with ctd.

Suncorp would have been packed... and homeside advantage? Bronco's got done by the Dragon's last week at Suncorp...... no advantage there!
