Ok, ignoring the other facts of that entire scenario..
That looks cool with the huge dust cloud slowly billowing out.

On the other hand, holy crap, about 1/4 of the way through there she (or he) has actualyl close-up captured someone jumping out one of the windows, to the point you actually see all the glass smashing and flying out and then see the person jump out :< (or it was blown out from an internal explosion or something, but you definately see glass and something that looks like people falling straight after it)

I dont think they even realise they filmed it at the time cause there was no reaction from them, but damn :<

I can't even begin to imagien how bad it would be to be up there, chosing between jumping or burning :< ouch :<

Well I don't see people paying $200 for tandem burning, so I think the choice would be easy.

The best amatuer footage ever captured is between the jfk assasination, the 9/11 attacks and the boxing day tsunami imo. I find it hard to decide which one is more incredible.

Thanks for the link.
Its a very personal version of the experience. Seems so different to the news channel versions. I still feel ill watching it.

There's quite detailed and clear footage of people jumping that the media has, they ran it on the day, but like the Palestinians celebrating at the news of the attack the media doesn't think we need to see it any more. Too emotional. I agree with this view:
if it were me standing 100 stories up, after breaking a window that was never meant to be broken, on a ledge that was never meant to be stood upon, making the nightmarish decision to die in a fiery inferno or leap into space, I’d want the world to bear witness to my choice.

The world needs to bear witness to their choice.
Thanks for the link.

Parachutes should be as common as fire escapes in buildings that tall. Seriously.

Shotgun recording the fighting to the death battle for the ten parachutes they have in there.

I agree with mr mr, pretty amazing in that it gives you a full sense of it all happening, was quite an amazing bit of footage. Odd that they had bits cut out of it though like just before the second plane hit and just before the first building fell

They claim that they weren't recording at that point and quickly turned the camera on when it happened. Which makes sense, you wouldn't really know that more crazy s*** was about to happen.

Not sure if we actually see jumpers in that vid though, I was at least telling myself it was debris while watching.

Those buildings going down is just incredible, no matter how many times I see it. It's just like the first time.
