A new version of Firefox has been released - you can nab it locally for the usual flavours. The release notes say there are "improvements to product stability" and some security fixes. |

i've been using opera for at least 6 months now. I think ever since 1.5x firefox was startign to get really ram hungry and it wouldnt idle well when I was doing other things. would slow s*** down and eventually crash.
plus i really like some of operas default features like session saving. still, ff is better than ie6, I wish I could use something other than ie6 at work :( |

<3 opera, but I like firefox's plugins & skins more. unless there's now adblock/noscript/greasemonkey for opera I'll stick with FF as main browser

Because it's dramatically improved since its earlier days and deserves at least a go.

I just hope the random crashing it used to do when I tried to download stuff has been fixed. I'd be hapily browsing away & try to download something and opera would just crash. I'd have to go hunting for the download ini file that stores all the stuff opera tries to download & delete it before opera would run again. go to download the exact same file and it'd work just fine.
