I need a Half Height PCI-X Graphics Card to suit an Aopen-340 D (Relatively standard half height case)
Anyone got any recommendations ? (OR Any tips at all, I can't find a thing) |

pci-x is what people who dont know what they are talking about call pci-e and it causes confusion with an older slot called pci-x

PCI-X and PCI-E are two completely different things... thats what hes saying. You want PCI-E as that is the modern graphics card standard... PCI-X is some older server style bus.

If somebody did know where to get a PCI-X graphics card though, I love to know where. I believe they're very hard to get / near non existant.

Why would you need a PCI-X graphics card?

I recently acquired and old Dual Xeon 2.4Ghz server which was about to be thrown out. This box only has PCI & PCI-X slots (+ onboard video). Even though onboard video will do for a server, if i was able to get my hands on a PCI-X video card, it's just one of those things that would be a nice addition :) I know ultimately I have little to no chance of finding one and if i wanted to stick a video card in it, i may as well just put a PCI GF4 MX or something in there but I figured I may as well throw the question out there and see if I get any bites.
