When I cut an image from a .pdf file and paste it into a word document it shows up fine on the screen but when I print it all I get it blank space. Is that my printer being strange or is there any way to fix it? Google hasn't been my friend so far - need this for an assignment due today at 5pm.

I've seen it before, my solution was to open the PDF - hit printscreen and paste it into Paintbrush. Select the bit you want to copy and then paste that into Word.

yes pdf cut/paste is the ghey.
however asif use paintbrush for screencap ticcy u silly old man. Screenhunter is the stuff to use.. press prt screen, then highlight the section of screen to capture on the fly (eg select only what you want to capture in an on the fly crop) then capture to clipboard or file. Sexiest bit of free software ive found since irfanview :D |

My favourite part was the 'Version 2002'.
