Heh, I don't know about referring to weeds and supernatural as the cream of any kind of crop, but I am looking forward to a few of those shows.

Also, American Dad and more importantly, HBO's The Wire kick back in on September 10. Cannot wait for more Wire.

For those with video ipods apparently Heroes pilot episode will be released as a podcast on the 1st of September.

I assume it will once again fill the nobody cares what's on and when exactly it will start timeslot after the cricket ODIs in non-ratings time.

These are all US air-dates and have no bearing on the tardy Australian free to air dickarounds. They just let us know when shows can be conveniently aquired by less than legitimate means.

The hype here at the moment for best new show for the Fall season is Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip. It's written by Aaron Sorkin (West Wing, Sportscenter) and after watching it it definitely gets my vote.

Hanging out for The Office to start back again. What started out like a dodgy rip-off of the UK version has turned into an awesomely funny show.

Also wanna see what happens with Prison Break and im interested in how they're gonna ruin The OC by bringing Marissa's sister into it.

And lastly one of the most over rated shows, Lost. I wonder if the writers know what's gonna happen instead of making it up as they go along? Only time will tell.

After watching Prisoner, Brubaker, Shawshank Redemption, Lockup, Tango & Cash, Cool Hand Luke, Papillion, Great Escape, The Seige At Alta View, Poridge, Death Warrant...Oz just feels like it's trying too hard.

I'm up to ep 10 of season 2 Entourage and I gotta say the show rocks extremely hard. This is one of the funniest and clever shows I've seen in ages. The script is f***ing awesome. And Mandy Moore kicks ass in ep 8 and 9.

Clearly the CSI comment was directed at someone else...but Law and Order is awesome!! You just have to get into a habit of watching it regularly.

i like shows with an on going storyline, so law and order and csi: seem like second rate drama thats good when youve got nothing better to watch.

the only exception to this rule is sitcoms, and even then shows like arrested development and entourage s*** all over everything else.

I'm up to Episode 10 Season 3 of Entuorage and yes it is sweet :D

I just finished watching ep 10 of season 3 as well. OMG!! I cant believe how good this show is. Best thing I've watched in the last 2 weeks besides Silent Hill.
