Summit Footballs has offered a deal to my uni rugby team, and thought I'd see if anyone here was interested. The order has to be at least $200 so I'm trying to find some people who want in so we can make an order (cos i want a ball!).

Ball on offer is the Summit "Precision x12" rugby union ball. The same ball they use in wallaby games in Australia. Retails for $70-$90. See here: http://www.summitfootball.com.au/

They're so cheap because they're sample stock of different colours. Exact same match quality ball, but just with different colour designs. Or u can get the official white one as seen on the website for $25.

The whole range of summit balls (a-league, league, union, afl, soft beach type) are on offer at special rates so if you're interested in those just ask, but the $10 wallaby balls are by far the best deal.

Ok I understand Trog's statement completely. So here's how we can do it.

You'll have my name and address and phone number so u know where to find me. I live in St. Lucia.

I'm not really willing to fork out my own cash and then have people bail on me and leave me with a dozen balls and no money. So u have to netbank me the $15 once I finalise orders with my uni, friends, and here. My netbank name will obviously correlate with my address and u can check this in the white pages to see they match up.

I train at Easts rugby club on tuesday and wednesday nights so if u live on that side of town u can meet me there and i'll bring u your ball.

Trog u work at Taringa and live in Toowong right? Hell I could even drop your ball off for you.

Then I get the balls and we just arrange a time for you to come over and pick one up. I'll probably just get a whole selection of random colour designs they have, and first come first served - u just pick which one u want.

I'll get u a NRL "matchball" price ASAP maverik.

I have to wait to confirm I can actually get the a-league balls (x12 rugby balls are certain though).

However at this stage it looks like it might be $20 for the "premier" (the silver one) and $15 for the "champions" (the white one).

No idea if there's any difference between them apart from colour - I'll find that out too.

If I can get a pirates soccer ball they'd be $15 i think too. "Pirates" are summit's version of wahoo pretty much - so the soccer balls are sorta softish so they don't hurt your feet on the beach.

People paying $15 don't get their balls reserved so if u turn up too slow to get one and they're all gone then u miss out, or until I get more which is uncertain.

I'll likely drive to a park somewhere on a saturday or sunday where u can all meet me to buy your balls. Since there's like 20 of u maybe u'd wanna play a game of touch since you're all there - I dunno someone else can tee that up if they want. Better bring a pump though cos the balls come flat as far as I'm aware, and I don't have a pump.

Not sure which park - I'm trying to think of somewhere slightly central...maybe the soccer fields between park road and the mater hospital? Any other suggestions?

Also, A-league balls aren't guaranteed yet but x12 rugby are.

So if ur happy to pay $20 then just edit your order posts to say so, and ur guranteed your balls. Remember they cost at least $70 in shops so it's still a great deal, and you'd be helping a nigga out. : )
