Basically need to get a webpage online and need some info?
Has anyone ever paid somebody to make a page and signed contracts and the rest of it?

What are the steps?

What should I look out for?

What exactly are you looking for? Just a static page for info/brochureware kinda stuff or are you after some whizzbang dynamic site with shopping cart etc?

If all you need is a snazy design theres a few guys on here that may have the time to do something like that on the cheap.
