A comedian with ABC TV's The Chaser's War on Everything has been charged with offensive conduct after what senior police describe as an "act of mindless stupidity" outside a rugby league clash.

"I was filming for our show, hawking off a Bulldogs supporters kit, it was a silly thing, it had fake knuckle dusters, balaclavas, that sort of stuff," Licciardello told Southern Cross Broadcasting.

even the players have a sense of humour about it. If anyone saw the news on it last night at the post match interviews in the dressing rooms one bulldogs player was walking around in the backround wearing a balaclava

I liked it when they harpooned Japanese people because they needed to kill them for science... or when they gave people wanker fines for having personalised plates with their names on their cars.... wait, kat - don't you or didn't you have a personalised plate like that?

oh come on now Kat, thats just the thing they are waiting for you to say. It compounds your vanity even further, and you probably only have one of those s***ty dime a dozen customs that are 3 letters, 3 numbers. And you think people are jealous. hahahahahaha

For what its worth, the only one I can recall having adverse feelings for was a Crysler Plymouth I saw near Indooroopilly with the plates, PAY UP.

Can you read? Her numberplate has been clearly stated in this thread.

Did you see Kat confirm that what Persay may have been guessing at was actually the plate shes getting pisstakes over in this thread? Youre either reading into it with prior knowledge from another thread, or you know Kat perso. Either way I really dont care for your response, as anyone skimming through threads on forums like this surely mustnt have the ability to read or loosely follow a threads gist, its nothing to do with skimming past someones opinion that didnt fit. no no no.

Its really not a bandwagon, if you're trying to lay s*** on me for your dislike of the storm that has now mostly settled that was the World Cup, get over it. I'm starting to think its actually you that has the dime-a-dozen plates on your Mitsubishi Colt.

if you weren't around long enough to see kat's number plate thread than you shouldn't jump on the bandwagon. just looks like you're trying to fit in on a forum. how sad. don't feel bad though, I'm sure kat will think up some new material to provoke you into mindless flaming

I brought it up Kat and I'm fairly sure it is the first time I've done that, so I don't see how you came to that conclusion.

oh taggs, you make me point this out due to your ignorance; you're 10020621. My account is 146.

Who has technically been "here" the longest, given that you surely must know that number generation is linear and not at all random.

Now if you're naive enough to still think I'm trying to fit in to your little click group or whatever it is that you are describing, I will gracefully have wiped the floor with that silly little notion of yours with the above.

That is all.

huh?

al I know is this. I won't claim I can't afford health cover for my kid after spending $2k on number plates. It wouldn't be a hard decision for me at all, quite simple actually.

Apparently its not as clear for others!

I will look after mine - as I will also show concern for those unfortunate children who come second to personalised plates.

I say you should've personalised your kids, you get good of both worlds.

That or mention your kids on the numberplates.

But no you had be selfish.

Are you suggesting that Police shouldn’t arrest someone who is clearly breaking the law if they are being funny?

Someone explain this to me. I'm a clueless noob when it comes to the sport in question (I don't even know what its called). What law did he break? whats with dressing up like a bulldogs fan? (Im guessing trying to get a few idiots angry?)

Its people like you that ruin the bandwagon for the rest of us.

I believe there has been a history of violence at Bulldogs games, particularily night games. NFI how long for or how bad etc.

Chas broke the law real bad didn't he. Handing out fake knuckle dusters oh my. We could get him as a arms dealer if he has some inflatable ak's.

Who and why the police arrest doesn't take away from the fact that they have their sense of humour surgically removed with basic training.

Because the bulldogs are lebs lol

edit: we can see the humour in it, but it was bad timing. If you follow the sport and/or the issue then you would understand why.

The point is that he still broke the law. The police can't go, "Hah, that was kinda funny, we should let him go.".

"offensive conduct", yeah that is a down-the-line black and white law isnt it

True, but offensive conduct comes with a maximum 600$ fine. the police dont need to act like terry tuff c*** with such quotes as "we see how funny he thinks it is in court." also offensive conduct like astro just pointed out is hardly black and white. It's the kind of thing cops like to fall back on when they have the power to do f*** all else.
