Just reading some info over on the AVS forums and followed a couple of links to some interesting info about Ricoh planning on releasing a device that will both read and write to both the Blu Ray and HD-DVD format...interesting...but then I see the worlds largest Plasma at the bottom of the page!.

Fukin hell its 103 inches...and weighs 473 lbs!! Don't worry about what the cost is, what type of wall would you bolt that sucker too?! From memory the 60inch plasmas from Pana are about $17k...this bitch would be a lot $$$

I think only the Bill Gates of this world would be paying for that beast.

^^ tossing up between a cheap one from jb some conica brand or a 27" lcd trio from dse, both have there ups and downs, but really need scart inputs damnit!

Think ill go the SD Plasma its big screen cant beat the size for money, screen burn with pc's will be pain in the arse tho.

I thought plasmas had s***ty lifespans? Seriously though how many years would the however many hours they last equate to if you watch say, 4 hours of tv a night?

that plasma was on some TV show a while back.. i think they said it was $180Gau
and plasmas are useally good for 10-12 years before they need anything, but by that time something better wouldve come out.

Exactly whoop, that's what I am going to do in our next house, hopefully building later this year/07..going to have a complete dedicated Home Theatre room with a groovey HDDLP jobbie...The Sony Ruby might have dropped a few k by then.
