My girlfriend and i are currently looking for someone to live in the 2nd bedroom at our townhouse.

It is in Spring Hill (on Water Street, across road from big park) and you can walk to Valley in 5-10minutes and walk into city centre in 15-20minutes. Obviously easy access to busses and trains.

You get a decent sized room (facing away from road so quiet) with your own bathroom off it as well as use of the rest of the house.

3 level place with plently of parking including a 2 car garage and room for 2 cars out front.

House is fully furnished with chairs, tables, tv's, surround sound stereo/dvd/vcr system. Also has fully stocked kitchen and laundry.

Currently has Telstra Cable internet but soon to be ADSL2.

Perfect for someone working in the city/valley/milton area.

If you, or someone you know might be keen, let me know. Looking to get someone in next 2-3 weeks.

Pass this on to anyone you want.

Contact me via mantis@inta-link.com

Thanks
Simon

p.s. Perfer no couples, non-smoker and a worker (not student). But willing to consider anyone.

First things first. Does your girlfriend have hot friends?

Secondly, how old are you 2?

I am 26 and do IT at Milton.

She is a 23yo Italian Admins Coordinator in city by day, and a Latin dance teacher by night.

She knows lots of people and there are some hotties amoungst them.

So its ok for you to be a couple but its not ok for prospective housemates ?

Well, we I said we perfer a single person, but it's not a deal-breaker.

We share a room/bathroom/shower/etc. so basically act as 1 person.

Place can handle 3 people (things like hot water in morning), but 4 tends to push it.

But as i said, not a deal-breaker if it's a cool couple.

A single person? That's a bit of a strange request. I though people who were getting regular sex would be easier to deal with and would have less angst.

Why drama? and Why am i mutilating myself soon?

We currently have a guy living there with me and my girl. Just that he is moving out in a week or so.

Being in city, the rent ain't that cheap. But i find it was worth it to save on fuel and for convenience sake seeing i can walk/stumble home from clubs/pubs.

$140 a week to rent the room, then like $60 a month towards the power bill so when it comes it's not big.

Then just split phone rental (13.50) and local calls (i rarely make any). Pay own STD and mobile calls.

Split cable which will be around $30 each.

Not cheap but very handy if you work/party around CBD. And the place is pretty big for the area. Looked at a few places before choosing this one and the rooms were all tiny.

Also, for all you IT geeks in the audience.

I have a Windows Media Centre PC connected to TV and stereo as well as a 1TB (soon to be 1.5TB) media file sever filled with movies, tv shows, music vids and mp3. All legally obtained obviously.

House is also wired with gigabit lan.

is there any reason that you're not looking for students?

Perhaps students are generally understood to be poverty stricken

With students, the main reason i would perfer not, is cause they often keep different hours. As in sleep during day, up at night. Which means hard to coordinate with and might make noise while trying to sleep.

It's a small reason but there is also the fact they normally would not have excess cash if things like cleaning carpets needed to be done.

Again, not a deal breaker and depends on person.

No pics of GF, keep them to myself.

Yeah, love living across from a park.

My last job, the one i was in when i moved there about a year and a half ago, was just at the end of the street, like 3 blocks away. Was great.

But the job sucked and now i have an awesome job and still pretty easy (10min walk to valley, train to milton and then 1 block walk). If i wanted, and i basically used to do it for jujitsu at Suncorp Stadium, i could walk to work in around 45minutes. Had to do that a few months back when the trains were on strike.

Slight derail, but whats the concept behind your page?

What do you mean "concept"?

If you are referring to the www.inta-link.com page, i just made that as a home page when i learnt ASP many years ago.

Might make a new one in ASP.NET someone in near future but it does the job (which is to sit there)
