Anyone know of a program that watches an internet connection and shows a list of all programs that are currently accessing or receiving data. My connection is often active when I’m not using explorer or any programs that might be updating themselves, and I’d like to find out what is using up such large amounts of quota.

I don’t have p2p programs installed and the computer is free of virus/spyware/adware/etc

Try fport for Windows and lsof for Linux.

Both will tell you the process & PID of the applications with those TCP sockets open.
