I posted a few weeks back in relation to an engine and what not for a go kart im buliding. I ended up finding a Honda CR250 2 stroke with 4 speed manual for the task. Yes I know, it is going to be a rocket, but hence the topic, i need some 30mm tubing for a chasis extension and roll bar. Obvioulsy im only after a few meters of the stuff, anyone whow that sells it by the meter?

i got some stainless 3" cheap as off them..

good god don't build it out of mild steel.

British international trading will sort you out with some nice 4130 tube - you should be able to make most of it out of 1" x 0.65 or 083 tubing.

Tig it together don't mig it.

If you ever want to hill climb in it, it will need a roll hoop.

A really easy way to get a lot of the running gear would be to buy an old rolling go kart chassis.
