go for a mature age entry into uni if thats what you want, i don't think they care so much about your prerequisites when you are older
maths is more an aptitude thing for uni applications rather than an actual prerequisite. |

Im doing a course now called ATP, adult tertiary preparation. Its pretty much school again, 5 subjects etc. Except you get a ranking instead of an op, but Unis treat it exactly the same as an OP.
I know Southbank and Morton TAFE's have the course. The only course pre-req is that you have to be 18. |

The exam covers english, maths and science, so they have a pretty good idea of your skills before you walk in. last edited by typo at 09:25:33 05/Jun/06 |

Hey :) I did the ATP course offered by tafe a couple of years ago. It was really great and helped me to gain entry into law. I would definetly recommend it. It only take a year and whilst it does take a little bit of effort it's nothing like the preassures of highschool. It's good to go back and do it as a young adult. I completed mine at the Redhill campus. The staff there were awesome. Very supportive and extremely friendly.
Goodluck :) |
